Marriage counseling

Our client ambassadors connect new clients with the right counselor for them. They care deeply for people and love being an important part of an award-winning team.

Restoration Counseling Service is currently accepting application packets for the position of Client Ambassador. My Name is Brad Miller and, among other things, I help train and co-supervise our client ambassadors at Restoration Counseling Service (RCS).

A client ambassador essentially works on behalf of new and existing clients. When a client contacts RCS, it is the job of our client ambassadors to:

  • Connect with both new and current clients. Be kind. Be professional. Treat them well.
  • Fully answer all client questions.
  • Determine what their current challenge(s) is/are.
  • Determine if the client is currently in crisis.
  • Find the best fit for them from our counseling team.
  • Thorough email correspondence with clients and staff. Must be able to articulate information well to minimize confusion.
  • Inject kindness into a client's day.
  • Teach clients how to set up an appointment profile and make appointments.
  • Assist waiting room clients as needed.
  • Keep office running smoothly
  • Give hope readily.
  • Follow up as often as needed.
We know that clients can be in crisis when they contact us. This gives us an opportunity to give hope and build trust from the moment they contact us.

Core Characteristic Requirements:
  • Must be interested in helping others.
  • Strong work ethic.
  • Compassion for those who are broken and hurting.
  • Strong computer skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Must enjoy being part of a well-rounded team.
  • Good phone skills.
  • Must be a self-starter that works well on a team.
  • Have a kind and friendly demeanor that blends well with both clients and staff.
Applicants will need to submit, by email, the following three (3) items:
  • A resume with employment history
  • A bio to help me learn more about you and how well-suited you are for this position
  • A character reference letter (preferably from a Christian leader or mentor)
Additional Information:
  • This client ambassador will generally work two predetermined 8-9 hour days, usually 9:30 am-5:30 pm, and can usually add another 5-10 hours of float time.
  • Pay range: $13-20 per hour.
  • If this person can handle the demands of this job and is a good fit, there is a very real possibility of eventually managing our office and office staff.

The right person for this job will often go home after a day at RCS and be both exhausted and fulfilled. Exhausted because the day was so busy. Fulfilled because this person is making a real difference in the lives of people. If you are looking for an easy job, this job is not for you. If, on the other hand, you are willing to work hard, be part of a team, and learn new things while making a difference, we would love to hear from you.

Applications are being accepted now. I will be contacting qualified applicants after I receive your complete application packet (all 3 items) to set up interviews.
