Have you ever noticed that the more you understand about yourself, the more motivated you are to make positive changes? I believe strongly that you can only love others as much as you love yourself. That is why I am passionate about helping my clients to know the person they see when they look in the mirror in a more complete way. When you learn about yourself, you can learn to truly love yourself. The relationship that you have with yourself is very important! When a person can genuinely say, "I love and respect myself,” all of their relationships benefit from that; especially romantic relationships.
When we begin to dig deeper into who we are, it can seem daunting at first. We may even feel confused about who we are at times. However, I will make it safe for you to feel comfortable exploring emotions and thoughts that naturally arise in therapy.
I enjoy working with couples because I believe there is a lot to learn about who we are through the way we love one another. I have a great deal of experience working with children and families who have encountered trauma and loss. I have worked with moms struggling through postpartum depression, families affected by domestic violence, and children with challenging behaviors. These experiences have taught me the value of a healthy and solid foundation in a marriage.
Deciding to learn about yourself through therapy is the first brick to building a strong foundation in your emotional health and your marriage. It is also an important part in the process of reaching your full potential! I would be delighted to walk this journey with you.
I am an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist, I am committed to my clients and I will work just as hard as you do to get where you want to be!
