Hi! My name is Jazmyne Bernard, and I am an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist. I love to serve individuals, couples and families. I am eager to serve no matter what type of journey you are facing. Taking the first step to start counseling can be overwhelming. Whether you are experiencing anxiety, marriage challenges, trying to find a sense of self and purpose, or feeling stuck, I will walk alongside you as we face challenges.

Are you struggling with individual challenges that are causing you to feel lost, hopeless, and overwhelmed? I understand and want you to know that I can help you learn tools to encourage and validate what emotions and thoughts you are experiencing; this is how you can work through them. You are not alone trying to find a balance in life. Let me encourage you and help you with some tools to help you face and balance life’s obstacles. I can help you work through any thoughts, emotions, or trauma that is impacting your life. We will process this together and find reachable goals and tools to help you face life’s obstacles.

Growing up with divorced parents, I understand the impact it can have not only on the couple but also on the children within the family. As parents, we strive to do our best for our children and often find ourselves overwhelmed by the challenges we face in balancing their needs. Allow me to walk alongside you, as you navigate struggles within your marriage, co-parenting, or family conflicts. Together, we can bring about positive change through hard work and commitment.

I have gained insight into different settings such as public schools, outpatient and in-patient clinics, community health, and outpatient private practice. I have experience working with anxiety, self-esteem, personal growth, and depression. I also have experience working with other difficult transitions such as stress, marriage challenges, self-harm, relationship struggles, and substance abuse. From life experience, growing up within a toxic household of physical and emotional abuse, my passion is to serve and support you through trauma. I am dedicated to helping you get your life back.

One of my goals as your counselor is to offer a welcoming environment that allows me to meet you where you are in your life, providing you with empathy and support as you explore your thoughts and feelings. Having experience working with young children, adolescents, and couples, I would be honored to meet you where you are and support you through this season of your life. You’re not alone! I am looking forward to walking alongside you on your journey.

Please contact our office to set up a free 20-minute phone consultation prior to making your first appointment. I look forward to speaking with you soon. Contact me here.

Sincerely,
jazmyne-sig
